What: Aviation Career Day for Ventura County High School and Middle School Students
When: 9:30 to 12:30 on Friday, October 20, 2017
Where: Commemorative Air Force Museum Camarillo Airport, 455 Aviation Drive, Camarillo, CA
Why: An event for High School and Middle School students to learn about various aviation careers available in this growing industry. Students will have the opportunity to speak to aviation and aerospace industry professionals, military professionals, pilots and aviation schools.

Highlights:
Make Garbage Fly Contest with a twist: Students bring their glider made from recycled materials and compete for prizes. Updated rules will be posted here: www.facebook.com/vcaviationcareerday

Opportunities to build and fly a variety of other types of aircraft at the event Drone Cage with demos of drones, UAVs and RC Aircraft

Hosts: Ventura County 99s, Ventura County Career Education Center, California Aeronautical University, Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 723, Commemorative Air Force SoCal Wing, CP Aviation, Chanel Islands Aviation, Ventura County Department of Airports and Scofield Catering
